Kristeen Cherney Bio

I have over 15 years of experience in writing for online platforms with a strong SEO background, primarily in the areas of health and wellness. Aside from regular bylines on notable websites, such as Healthline.com and EverydayHealth.com, I have also written for individual clients.

While it may sound cliche, I have been writing my whole life. Aside from my passion for delivering informative, yet engaging health content, I am also a published creative writer. This also includes Indie authorship, with numerous projects in the works.

 

In 2015, after finishing my master's degree, I began studying for my doctorate at Georgia State University. Here, I received high marks on my comprehensive exams and graduated in 2018 with my PhD in English (Rhetoric and Composition). During my time at Georgia State, I served on numerous committees, taught first-year writing courses (receiving an Advanced Teaching Fellowship), and presented at nation-wide conferences.

When I'm not researching and writing, I'm likely outdoors. I am an avid runner, paddle-boarder, and hiker. I also love everything Star Wars, and regularly visit Batuu whenever I get a chance.
